Claim blog atau
website di alexa ini di maksudkan untuk membuktikan bahwa blog atau website
yang kita daftarkan ke alexa.com sesungguhnya blog/website milik kita.
Dan adapun langkah-lamgkahnya adalah :
1. Log In in ke www.alexa.com (bagi yang belum memiliki Alexa account silakan daftar dulu).
2. Buka halaman http://www.alexa.com/siteowners/claim ,masukan Url Blog kita dan klik "Calim Your Site"
3. Klik Free Sign Up
Ada dua pilihan untuk mem vrifikasi website atau blog kita.
I. Pilihan pertama Berlaku bagi yang telah memiliki Domain dan Hosting sendiri (cPanel).
* Download this file to your Computer, anda Klik → Download
* Upload the File to the root directory, sekarang anda log in dulu ke cPanel dan Upload file tersebut .
* Langkah terakhir anda klik → Verify the file on the your site.
II. Pilihan kedua untuk blogger/blogspot (lihat Gambar diatas ).
* Copy salah satu Tag Kode verifikasi dan pastekan kode tadi diantara <head> … </head> pada Template › Edit HTML .
* Simpan Templete kita .
* Kembali ke halaman alexa "Claim Your Site", lalu klik → Verify my ID.
Apabila tidak terjadi kesalahan dalam proses mengklaim, maka anda akan melihat notification ( pemberitahuan ) dari alexa seperti gambar dibawah ini.

<meta name="alexaVerifyID" content="w07Dhh_hL5w_EB-BGzILOg0BnPw"/> - If you DO NOT have access to your HTML code (if you are using a third party service such as Wordpress, Blogger, etc to build your site)
